$1,000 reward offered for information leading to missing Cedar Springs teen

CEDAR SPRINGS, Mich. (WOOD) — Silent Observer is offering up to $1,000 for information leading to the location of a Cedar Springs teen who has been missing for nearly two weeks.

Penelope “Penny” Wise, 17, was last seen around 6 p.m. on May 31, leaving his home in Cedar Springs. She was spotted on surveillance video five miles away on Rockford Park Drive near Northland Drive.


She is described as 5 feet tall, 120 pounds, with blonde hair and braces. In the surveillance video, she is seen wearing a pink tank top and shorts.

The Kent County Sheriff's Office said she hasn't been in contact with her family since, and her family is concerned because she has had mental health issues in the past.

Authorities said Friday they had no evidence of foul play.
