1 suspect arrested and several others identified in Memorial Drive shooting

MONROE, La. (KNOE) – The Monroe Police Department has identified several suspects in the shooting of a victim in the 100 block of Memorial Drive on June 12. One of the suspects was arrested, while the others remain at large.

Investigators arrested a child suspect for one count of attempted second-degree murder, one count of criminal conspiracy to commit second-degree murder, and one count of possession of a firearm by a minor.

Arrest warrants have been issued for Traquarrius Long, Arnaysia Smith and Steven Miles.

Long is wanted for attempted second-degree murder and conspiracy to commit second-degree murder. Smith, 15, is wanted on the same charges.

Miles is wanted for attempted second-degree murder, conspiracy to commit second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a minor.
