1 person transported by plane and 1 arrested following a knife call in Bonne-Espérance

GOOD HOPE, W.Va. (WBOY) — One person was flown to the hospital and another is in custody after crews were called to a stabbing incident in Good Hope Friday evening.

According to the Harrison County Media Log, at approximately 7:26 p.m., crews were alerted to a stabbing incident off Good Hope Pike in Good Hope. 12 News sent a team of reporters to the scene, who witnessed a person being airlifted by Healthnet Aeromedical Services.

At the scene, reporters saw that the area near Puckett's Processing was marked with yellow police tape and that several law enforcement personnel were speaking to civilians at the scene. Reporters also saw law enforcement handcuff a woman, load her into a patrol car and leave the scene.

Authorities were unable to confirm any details regarding the incident, nor the status of the injured person.

Crews from the West Milford Fire Department, Nutter Fort Fire Department, Harrison County Sheriff's Office, West Virginia State Police, Virginia Division of Natural Resources- Occidentale and Harrison County EMS all responded to the scene.

The Harrison County Sheriff's Office is investigating this incident.
