1 person hospitalized after stabbing in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A man is in the hospital after being stabbed early Sunday morning in Grand Rapids.

Around 12:15 a.m., Grand Rapids Police Department officers were dispatched to the area of ​​Hall Street SE and Lafayette Avenue SE for a stabbing incident.

A man “in his 30s” was taken to the hospital for treatment, GRPD said. His state of health has not been disclosed.

It is not known exactly what led to this attack.

No suspicious information has been released.

The stabbing remains under investigation.
