1 man shot inside Harford Mall, possible suspect identified

A 42-year-old man was airlifted to a Baltimore-area trauma center after he was shot Sunday afternoon at Harford Mall.

Police said that on June 2, shortly after 4 p.m., officers responded to a shooting at the Harford Mall located at 696 Bel Air Road.

When police arrived, they found a 42-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.

Officers provided medical treatment to the victim and began the process of securing the mall.

The incident was initially treated as an active shooter situation until more information was gathered.

Based on witness information, a possible suspect vehicle and possible suspect were identified.

The suspect vehicle was located in Edgewood, Maryland, and police are in the process of locating the suspect.

Police say the identity of the suspect has not been released at this time due to the ongoing investigation.

According to police, this is an isolated incident involving a victim and a suspect at this time.

The victim was flown to a Baltimore area trauma center and is in stable condition.
