1 killed, 3 suspects on the run after fatal shooting in northwest Oklahoma City

A shooting at a gas station in northwest Oklahoma City left one person dead and three suspects in limbo Saturday.

Police said it happened around 11:40 a.m. at Express Gas and Grocery near W. Wilshire and the Northwest Expressway.

The identity of the person killed has not been released.

Investigators believe the victim and suspects got into a fight before the shooting.

Police responded to the scene and found the victim dead inside the store.

Crime scene investigators and homicide detectives arrived early in the afternoon as large groups of people watched the scene from across the road.

Neighbors declined to be filmed, but said the victim's family was among those gathered.

As of 6 p.m., police said they were still in the early stages of the investigation.

“We have no further information to release,” said Capt. Benjamin Weir of the Oklahoma City Police Department. “We just know that we have three unidentified black males that came into the store, they were involved in the altercation and are still outstanding at this time.”

Police said there is evidence that multiple firearms were used in the shooting.

No images or detailed descriptions of the suspects have been released.
