1 dead following shooting in north Phoenix

No suspects have been located in Friday night's shooting, police said.

PHOENIX — A man is dead following a shooting in north Phoenix Friday evening, the city department said.

Phoenix police officers were called to a shooting at Tatum Boulevard and Union Hills Drive just before 11:30 p.m. When officers arrived on scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

Police said officers provided aid until firefighters arrived, but the man died from his injuries at the scene.

A vehicle that police believe may be involved in the incident was found nearby, but no suspects have been located.

Police did not release any further information.
