Top 5 Final Form Weapons (Destiny 2)

Top 5 Final Form Weapons

Guardians, if you are looking for best final form weaponsYou are in the right place. Whether you're embarking on the latest story arc or fine-tuning your builds, these new instruments of destruction will take your gameplay to the next level.

Today we're counting down the 5 essential weapons every Guardian should have in their hands to get the most out of Prismatic and all the new build options it brings.

Methodology

These weapons were chosen based on specific criteria. Please note that this list is 99% focused on PvE. These weapons were selected based on overall damage, perks, usefulness, and ease of use. All but one of the weapons are also fairly easy to acquire. Although this is not necessary to make the list, it was also taken into consideration to some extent. Being able to craft both legendary weapons on this list also put them above the rest of the competition!

5. No hesitation

Kicking off this list at number 5 is the first carrier frame automatic rifle: No hesitationThese new Auto Rifle Frames bring a new level of survivability to you and the rest of your team.

Dealing damage builds up a charge on this rifle, and randomly shooting allies will heal them. Additionally, healing allies quickly grants them Restoration, while increasing the damage of this weapon.

No Hesitation is amazing at keeping your allies alive, but with its perk pool, also amazing at keeping you alive. Physics is a new advantage that The Final Shape brought us, and No Hesitation can use it! Physics grants restoration to your allies by healing them quickly, but also gives it to you! In Slot 2 you can also get Incandescence, making this weapon the perfect combo to combine ad removal with survivability.

This weapon can drop anywhere in Paleheart. You can also throw them as many times as you want at your ghost in the Pale Heart. Micah-10 also has quests that can drop red-rimmed Pale Heart weapons!

Here's a build worth trying if you get your hands on a good roll or craft No Hesitation: Plunder's Devouring Hellion Souls.

4. Khvostov 7G-0X

Yes, this list revolves around PvE based weapons, however, at number 4 is the brand new Khvostov 7G-0X. Be careful, the quest to obtain this new exotic is tedious and exhausting. On the other hand, it is a fantastic weapon for PvE and an absolute monster in PvP!

First, every seventh bullet from this weapon deals bonus damage and ricochets off nearby targets. Additionally, collecting Power Orbs empowers future shots from this weapon, allowing them to bounce between multiple targets.

The cherry on top is the fact that the new Khvostov gets the Shoot to Loot power, making collecting Power Orbs that much easier! He has virtually no recoil and is decimating ads in PvE. He's currently at the top of the PvP meta totem pole, so expect a PvP nerf very soon!

As indicated previously, this weapon is obtained through a very long quest. Stay tuned for our guide on how to get it!

Since this weapon is awesome in both PvE and PvP, here's a build for each!

3. The Reformed Red Death

At number 3 we have a returning D1 fan favorite, The Reformed Red Death! A lot of people weren't fans of Crimson and wanted the real thing, and now we have an even better version! Its exotic perk, Redemption, grants you increased reload speed and heals you on final hits, and reloading after final hits also heals your nearby allies.

Additionally, when you deal damage with this weapon, it gains better handling, you experience less startle, and your movement speed is increased for a short time. To top it off, when your health is reduced, this weapon deals extra damage.

This weapon will increase your survivability in the toughest content, and having an Anti-Barrier Pulse Rifle in the Artifact makes it even more useful. It's an easy S-tier weapon in both PvE and PvP!

The best part is that it's very easy to get. If you bought the Episode 1 Season Pass, you already have it. If not, the free Season Pass will allow you to get it at level 40.

Here's a build using Red Death Reformed that you're sure to love! : Singing abilities.

2. The call

Before we get closer to our number 1 choice, we have The call. Before The Final Shape, we only had one rocket-assisted handgun. Not only do we have more now, but this one goes into the Kinetic slot instead of the Energy slot, since it's a Strand weapon.

I won't explain how awesome this weapon is, because I won't need to. I'll just give you a few perks that it can roll in each slot and you'll understand enough! In the first slot, it can get Beacon Rounds, Lead From Gold, Demolitionist, Slice, Subsistence, and those are just the S-tier perks!

In Slot 2, you may find yourself with Hatchling, Vorpal Weapon, Desperate Measures, and One For All, among others! There are TOO many interesting perk combinations this weapon can work with!

Like No Hesitation, this weapon can drop anywhere in the Pale Heart, but can also be purchased from your Ghost in the Pale Heart. Micah-10's quests can also reward you with this weapon. Be careful, this can and SHOULD be designed as soon as possible!

You can use it with the Plunder build linked above under No Hesitation, but here's another build anyway (don't worry, it also uses No Hesitation): Rest's Benevolent Balance.

1. Always on the hunt

Topping our list of the best Final Shape weapons is the popular Golden Gun sniper: Always hunting. This weapon is amazing in PvE and excels at dealing damage against bosses. You can pick up Power Orbs or perform Precision Shots to charge this weapon's Super bar. Once full, hold your action button to fire Golden Gun shots.

This weapon also gains passive bonuses to target acquisition, aim speed, and flinch resistance; The bonus increases when this weapon's super mode is active. Additionally, when you activate Golden Gun mode, you gain 3 free shots added to your ammo, or 1 if you use Celestial Nighthawk. Oh yes, Golden Gun mode works with Celestial Nighthawk!

If you use it with Nighthawk, instead of 3 shots that stack damage with each hit, it fires a single shot that deals massive damage! This weapon has proven its power very well since its release and is undoubtedly part of the new raid boss DPS meta.

After completing The Final Shape story, you can speak to Cayde-6 in the ancient Tower of the Pale Heart and start Wild Card, the quest that nets you this incredible weapon.

Since I mentioned its raid damage potential, it only seems right to tie in a build that will let you see the substantial damage you can deal for yourself: Mactics' best DPS hunter build of all time.
