UTICA, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – Family has released to media the name of the 13-year-old who was shot and killed Friday night by a Utica police officer. Her name is Nyah Mway. His name was revealed by family members to ABC News.

No new information regarding Friday's shooting was released following a morning news conference held at Utica City Hall.

Utica police said they are still gathering body camera video from the three officers involved in the incident. The New York State Attorney General's Office is leading the criminal investigation.
