Several clips from the accident, which took place before the Elias Road exit, show a white car, allegedly a Volkswagen Golf, driving at full speed in the middle lane of the TPE.

The car then suddenly moves towards the leftmost lane. Apparently unaware of the presence of the vehicle in front, the speeding Volkswagen collides with the rear of a black van.
