Man shot by Harrisburg police identified and transported from hospital to jail

Dauphin County officials confirmed Friday that the man shot and killed by Harrisburg police on June 22 during an attempted arrest has been released from the hospital and booked into the Dauphin County Jail on some of the underlying drug charges for which he was wanted.

The man, identified as Bryan K. Horton, 39, was in a vehicle targeted by a hail of bullets during the stop, according to videos of the shooting that surfaced on social media sites, including the page Facebook “Channel 5 Ratchet News”.
