Coroner's office releases autopsy results of man killed in stabbing – Newstalk KZRG

The McDonald County Coroner's Office has released autopsy results for a man killed nearly a week ago.

An autopsy was performed on the body of Christian Cummings, 31, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

The coroner's office said Cummings was killed by six stab wounds to the chest.

Garrett Sumter, 32, also of Bartlesville, was arrested last Saturday evening.

He was charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action.

He pleaded not guilty at a court hearing earlier this week.

Sumter is being held without bail in the McDonald County Jail.

According to reports, Sumter and Cummings went to a bar and were later involved in an argument in the Minnow Springs neighborhood on Noel, which led to an argument and, later, a fatal stabbing.
